My passion for photography and the creative process started with a homemade pinhole camera and watching Jon Gnagy’s Learn to Draw TV program on Saturday mornings as a kid. While photography and art have never been the focus of my education or career, the passion and joy I receive from them has never left. Now that I’m “officially” retired, I am thoroughly enjoying pursuing these passions. I continually find inspiration from some very talented people-including Scott Kelby, Corey Barker, Serge Ramelli, Aaron Nace (Phlearn), Seabastian Michaels, and Andre Tallent. I am also constantly inspired by the many fellow members of the Photoshop Artistry and Shift Art groups I joined. It seems I also have a very ruminating mind that never rests and is always imagining the “next thing.”
This website includes photos I’ve taken (processed in Lightroom) and PhotoArt Composites. The PhotoArt Composites are mainly from photos I’ve taken, and then combined with other textures and elements, to make them more interesting and/or to tell a story.
As is always the case: “Art is in the eye of the beholder.” I hope you’ll find something here that you can enjoy. As for me, I’ve enjoyed creating them all.
